Indianapolis Spring Quad
This spring Ball State University will host the AIAS Midwest Quad Conference. This is semi-annual gathering of architecture students from schools within the AIAS Midwest Quad. The event offers students the opportunity to learn about issues facing architectural education and the profession, to meet other students and professionals with common interests, and to interact with today’s leading architects. Conference events include a trade design expo, tours, workshops and speakers that enable attendees to discuss architectural and design related issues. The conference will be held March 27-28, 2009 (Friday and Saturday) at the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel.
The theme for the conference; “Indianapolis Crossroads – Connecting People through Design” is meant to foster links between Architecture and other design related fields.

*As of 9 a.m. on March 9 all rooms have been filled at the AIAS special rate. If you have not booked your room yet, you may call Sheraton City Center and ask for Julie Mahern, Senior Sales Manager. Notify her you are with the AIAS Quad Conference and she may be able to reserve your room at the AIAS rate depending on availability.

COLUMBUS INDIANA
On Sunday March 29, the Visitors Center in Columbus Indiana will be open. To check out some of the architectural sites, click on the link below. Transportation will not be provided by the conference, however AIAS BSU representatives will be at the Visitors Center throughout the day.
Registration
To register for the event, select the amount of tickets you would like from choices above and click ORDER NOW. There you will register for your tours and payment type. Note that if you choose to pay with credit card, there will be an additional fee. Registration will be accepted up until the event day.
